At the risk of inciting you further, the Republican party has become very pro-Trump since the Donald's election in 2016. There are of course many Rino's left, but thankfully McCain and his ilk are being left far behind by a new Republican party that is more responsive than ever to the grass roots renaissance which has been inspired by the current President.

As gerrymandering completely crumbles,
Gerrymandering has nothing to do with Trump winning the electoral vote.

All it does is give the majority party in a given state the power to gain a few more seats in the House of Representatives.
