CCSC is currently at its 200-day MA. If it breaks down, it may fall to $21 or so. I'll be loading up if it does that. CCSC's earnings report will be released on 1/21.

As far as I know, the only RBOC that buys much equipment from CCSC is Ameritech. I know that CCSC sells some product to LU in an OEM relationship, so if LU's customers are not buying as much, that could affect CCSC a bit. But unless I see some more serious indications than these, I'm not worried. About a third of CCSC's business is in the US, and much of that is wireless spending. Besides, echo cancellers are more of a necessity than a luxury, because with deregulation, a provider with noisy lines will lose customers. On top of that, the estimates for 1998 have always been very conservative, so even if the international spending slows down (not likely), CCSC should make at least $1.12 in 1998.

CCSC broke key support levels today, especially the 200-day MA. The next level of support is at $20. The only wild-card is the release of earnings before the market opens on Tuesday. The "Street" is expecting .25. However, based on the recent sell-off, it seems as if the market expects CCSC to have a bad outlook. It's trading at 20 times 1998E EPS.
