Several weeks ago the Washington Post had a special report looking at tech jobs in the DC area. The highest (and unfulfilled) demand by far was for Oracle programmers. Also, I just returned from three years in Russia and was really impressed with Oracle's presence there in such a difficult emerging market. Oracle has a heckuva operation in Moscow. The world's second largest software company isn't going away, and I think that anyone who invests now will be rewarded over time. My wife and I jumped in at 22 (pretty stupid--nobody gets to be a hero by trying to guess the low) but we are comfortable with Oracle in our portfolio. It's a big world out there with an insatiable demand for American technology and know-how.
Good luck to all ORCL holders.

Wow. I read your posts and wish there was some intelligence requirement to post on these threads. I don't mind shorts, but at least be upfront and honest about what you are doing and your motivations for being here. Rumormongering is not a part of the investment process. In the future, try your hardest to not waste everyone's time, if possible.
