ADVISORY/Intel to Run First-of-a-Kind Super Bowl Ad:
TV Viewers to Select Ending Over the 'Net

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

-0-

WHAT: Intel has created a first-of-a-kind ad where TV audiences select
the ending of a commercial by casting votes on the Internet. This
new kind of TV commercial will be aired during this year's Super
Bowl, getting viewers to log on to Intel's Web site to help solve
a mystery. The characters in this film-noir mystery are the
familiar Intel BunnyPeople(TM) characters. A Pentium(R) II
processor is missing from the clean room, and the detective needs
the help of the TV/Web audience to solve the mystery. Viewers
will recognize the voice of actor/comedian Steve Martin
portraying the detective.

"Sneak Preview" video footage of this innovative ad is available
upon request. Copies of the entire commercial will only be
available after the Super Bowl airing, starting Monday, Jan. 26.
You can also check out www.intel.com starting Jan. 19 for more
sneak peeks.

WHEN: Ads air during the Super Bowl, Sunday, Jan. 25, approximately
between 4 - 4:25 PST and 6 - 6:25 p.m. PST. The game starts at
3:18 p.m. Voting will start after the first commercial and
continue through the third quarter of the game. The ending that
receives the most votes will be aired in the fourth quarter.

INTERVIEWS: Intel Vice President and Director of Marketing Dennis
Carter and Worldwide Advertising Director Ann Lewnes will be
available for you to interview about this new, innovative way of
marketing and advertising.
