TWY, I agree with pretty much 90% of what that editorial said. Except for the notion that I HAVE to play along in this race to the bottom.

When the Democrats regain control, they're going to start from the already low standards that Trump just set and continue downward from there. And conservatives will be powerless to stop them, especially as mainstream culture is moving in the direction toward liberal authoritarianism.

Personally, I say enough is enough. Just because the other side started this war against objective truth doesn't give "our side" (whoever that is) an excuse to do likewise.

Then it just becomes a game of who is in power. Might makes right.
