The semiconductor industry particularly memory is know for inventory cycles. These are early signs of trouble but they may also be transient. Here's another article that is more interesting but it is a Bloomberg opinion article. It did come out a few days before Micron and KLA-Tencor spoke. Micron's chart looks terrible.
