Brian,

Although I am long on CSCO I do know that it's trading at near it's all time high. On the other hand MOT is near a 2 year low and INTC is off 30+% from it's high. So, although MOT missed by 2 cents, this was far less than the street anticipated allowing it to bounce a bit. In the case of INTC they beat the lowered expecations (kindalike MOT), and therefore the price bid up a bit. However it quickly retreated, as I'm sure you noticed, due to forward looking comments about revenues.

As for CSCO. IMO CSCO won't disappoint and so the stock (absent of outside forces) will push to a new all time high. However, If CSCO misses then I think the shorts will have a good day or two. So, I don't think you can draw analogies between CSCO and INTC/MOT given the stock prices relative to all time highs and expectations.

GO CISCO!!!!

Gary

How would you explain them? INTC beat and MOT missed slightly. They still went down because of negative forward statements. Look at your charts.
