Liberals today are full of elitism. Hillary was the ultimate culmination of this phenomenon in the Democratic party. She was highly educated and smart and completely out of touch with the 99%. It's why Democrats can't understand why everyone doesn't agree with their favorite causes like cheering on entitled millionaire football players who kneel during the national anthem. They don't get how normal Americans simply can't connect with that kind of shit. I was listening to a guy on NPR today who was talking about the 10 year anniversary of the financial crisis and he lamented that the image of the financial crisis that was embedded in his psyche was watching men in suits walking out of Lehman Brothers with packing boxes in their hands. I did a double take. Say what? He's worried about a bunch of rich banksters who lost their jobs from a bank that was engaged in fraudulent and risky behavior just like many of the other big banks and found themselves on the wrong side of some big bets? WTF! Only an elitist liberal would think like that. You know what image I have? People like my mom and other 99%ers who are on fixed incomes, who lost their houses and their jobs and ended up homeless and have never recovered from the financial crisis. Again, this is why Trump got elected. The elitist liberals have their priorities all screwed up and they simply don't know how to connect with the 99%.
