True! Wild success for many decades brings a lot of softness and decadence to people. Read an article recently that said something like this. We're in the last stage below. Our wealth as a country has lead to weak, soft, entitled, victim mentality, snowflakes. Those people will bring Socialism to this country. That combined with the infrastructure of tyranny that is already in place, from the Patriot Act and FISA Laws, to the Google, Facebook, Washington Post, and MSM propaganda machines controlled by the tech giants, all of these will enable and unleash all the evils every other Socialist country has experienced. But when done here in the US, that will bring the whole world into a turmoil unseen in the history of man.
