IMHO, if the Zack's estimate hadn't been so high, this ER would look OK, if not reasonably good, given the situation in networking companies these days.

Q4-97 appears to have been an aberation. When the Q3-97 is looked at, this quarter Q1-98 appears to be a logical extention, probably pretty resonable given the networking situation.

Still not happy, though,

Ed

Stockaholic,

It would be easy to be demoralised by the results, but I actually
see a lot of positives. The revenues are strong in what is always
a poor quarter. The profits are also strong for the quarter. The
profits aren't unduly exaggerated by excessive use of tax credits
(which was criminal last quarter). Overall the performance compared
to other network semi stocks (which have been appalling!) is pretty
good !

The stock has been hyped out of all existance over the last six months
and I for one would be very happy if everyone just left Seeq alone
for 9 months. It would be easy to be disappointed by the latest
numbers, but I would be delighted by a further entry point close to
$2 which I would see as unduly pessimistic. This is a company that
is slowly and surely turning itself around. I'm now looking for an
opportunity to double my position (again) if we see $2 - $2 1/8.
Seeq will see $4 again this year, and a lot more before the end of
next year......

Not happy..... but not unhappy - I feared worse.

Mark
