Bruce if you read the article closely, look at the statement "high
end reomte access". SO, lucent wants to provide access at the high
end (equipment). Guess what is a good fit?. Ascend. There are rumors,
and I hope this pans out. 3Com?. Dont' know. Regards, Immi

Hey guy -- I totally agree with you...downgrades often provide good buying opportunities...IMHO, that's the case with LU now...I'll be buying more if the price drops much more...as for COMS, I don't like the company but somebody will probably buy them...maybe LU, who knows...but I think ASND is a better buy-out candidate...I'd like to see LU get them, if they can get the accounting worked out

Soundview is a spinoff from Gartner Group. May still have some association with Gartner. Gartner has a good reputation in technology tracking and projection, but I don't think Soundview is knocking anybody's sock off.
