Also after the bell:

Sun Microsystems (SUNW) 43 +11/16: developer of enterprise network computing products reports 2nd qtr operating net of $0.57 a share, 3 cents above the First Call mean view. In the yr-ago period, SUNW earned $0.46. Revenues rose 17.8% to $2.45 bln....

Seagate Technology (SEG) 19 5/8 +1/2: disk drive maker plans to take a 2nd qtr charge of $300 mln, as it reduces its global workforce by 10%....

Electronics For Imaging (EFII) 17 1/16 -3/4: designer of color servers reports 4th qtr net of $0.07 a share, a penny better than Wall Street's downwardly revised earnings estimate. In the yr prior period, EFII made $0.36 a share....

IMHO, SUMW is likely one of the few who could move the market tomorrow so this is definitely good news. EFII is of little import to the overall tech sector other than their performance could give us a view as to what is happening in asia. Regarding SEG, I think the market has already discounted this and then some. We'll see tomorrow.

BTW, anyone heard what the BTB was?

Regards,

Brian
