I posted this same info the other day on INTC's cap equip spending.
I confirmed this breakdown with a fellow on the INTC thread and by listening to the conference call, therefore I agree with your impression.

My conclusion on what this info means, along with other e reports, is clearly different than most. The past two weeks have convinced me, anew, that AMAT shouldn't go lower than the low 20's. Cap equip spending is simply not collapsing, the asia bailout is continuing in earnest, europe is picking up strongly, interest rates are staying low, dram prices are stabilizing, etc.

I am sure that there will be more noise about pushouts, cancellations, asia limping along, China and Japan slowing more; all terrible things.But I am impressed that the e reports are reasonable, and the semi's are priced for disaster.
