<<John: What happened to the stock price after both parties backed out? TIA Max>>

Both Stock prices crumbled - initially GTIS went up and MPRS went down, this lasted one day (abitrager's short covering of GTIS and selling MPRS long positions), long term both stock went down futher. MPRS is now at 2 which is way below its previous low for the year (3.75) and GTIS fell to 6.125 which was an all time low. My experience with GTIS, MPRS really saved me with my Jan 10 BORL options, which I dumped the day of the merger announcement at 1 1/2.

It would be a shame if the BORL VSGN merger was cancelled - I am convinced BORL needs the merger to get a real foothold in the Enterprise market.
