I was afraid this might happen.. I frankly don't know which is proper. The 100MM or so charge they had was, I believe related to an aquisition. If it should show against their profits for a EPS score then they are not being honest with us. If it's proper to adjust EPS against a charge like that, then today was indeed good news.

Which is it??

all: the charges are appropriate and will be overlooked by your buds the analysts. It is a non cash charge to account for the price sunw paid above the net assets of Encore. The number you should councern yourself with is .57, which is what sunw earned on operations after tax.
