As far as adding new accounts goes, I tried to call them yesterday regarding MY new account. They put me through to the New Accounts department and I was on hold for at LEAST 4-5 minutes. Bad for me--Good for AMTD. Their ranking with I.B.D. is very impressive, all three analysts covering them give the company a "strong buy recommendation," and they are ranked #1 in their industry (according to yahoo). Granted, these sources are pretty pedestrian, no insider info here, but the stats sure look impressive nevertheless. My first Ameritrade order will be for shares of AMTD.
