Well I've been reviewing AND's results, and I'm not sure what to think. The stock got hammered today, down 5, and looks as if it could go lower. Everyone on there thread is panicking, and speaking of lawsuits. I'm not sure if this is a positive or negative for LHSPF...
Any opinions?

Nick

I think Andrea's report is a non-event for LHSPF. What they did in 1997 bears no relationship to Lernout, since Lernout sold few, if any product with their equipment bundled; the association between the two was just announced recently, and to the best of my knowledge, won't really hit the marketplace until later this quarter. Andrea's sales were much more dependent on IBM, etc. In 1998, there will be some relationship between the overall acceptance of voice recognition and Andrea's results, but still no direct relationship to any individual company, such as LHSPF, since Andrea's equipment will be used with everyone's software.

Saw the Andrea release, thank you. Street is looking for $ .29 with the range $ .28 (Robertson) to $ .33 (Lehman).
