Mike,
The subsidy, which also exists here in Malaysia, basically provides a low fixed price for citizens to purchase gas and oil. I expect consumption of gasoline in Indonesia to dwindle a bit as fewer people are going to have jobs to commute to. I am not sure of the level of export but Indonesia is a member nation of Opec and I am sure the figures are readily available. When I get a moment I'll try a link or two that I have.
