Mohan;
<<You know anything about that 'Mega' technology
City they are building over there, forget the name,something 'Jaya' or the other. Is the construction still on or did they pull the plug on it???>>

There are actually two large developments. One is called the MSC (for Multi Media Super Corridor and the other is called Cyber Jaya. Both projects are still underway. The MSC is a specially zoned area designed to attract multinational technology companies seeking a regional prescence for R+D. Microsoft and Oracle are both already signed up to occupy a facility there. It is being designed with futuristic planning in mind including fibre optic communication links, mass transit, etc etc. It will also have a special tax treatment. Cyber Jaya is the new Govt offices center and is intended as a self sustaining community complete with housing, shopping, schools, etc. There was a recent meeting concerning the MSC and , while it is going ahead they have announced that the pace may fall off a bit.

Best,
Stitch
