[QWST & WCII?]

has QWST made any rumblings of entering the CLEC space? acquiring WCII would allow QWST to offer a complete slate of lowest-cost business telecom services (local, long distance, internet, internet fax) with no dependencies on local telcos. QWST would own the the voice/data packets from door-to-door, since WCII's services are wireless. WCII's geographical footprint and target markets align very well with the QWST network, IMO.

just food for thought.

Hey, I'm a little slow... I buy 1000 shares of PHX and QWST price is 60, for example...let's say I got PHX at 50 cents per share. so (1000 shares X 0.50 = $500). If I get 0.79 per share in merger swap, I now have 1000 X 0.79 = $790. 790/60 per share of QWST = 13 shares and some change.

Without merger, my 500 gets me 8 shares and change. so I get 5 "free "shares for every 500 invested in PHX assuming merger goes through.

Plus a cash kicker at 7%.

This can't be right. Help anyone.
