Wow, where's Brad today? I wanted to ask him about some of his "research" in the FAMH overview. And, before I get hammered for beating up on poor little Brad, please note that: A) Brad has bragged about how great he is at research, more than once, in capital letters, for Pete's sake, and B) I am NOT attacking Brad, only the erroneous information he has posted, because people seem to trust it and I hate to see them led astray. In the overview, Post#1144, he says of Firamada that "they focus on the high profit end of the business, upscale permanent placements." *Not true. According to Ira, the business is mostly temp placements. Next: "Firamada is negotiating to acquire Myriad Employment, a private company with 21 offices in California and Utah." *Untrue. They only have one office. This is the first post I noticed with "California and Utah" in it. Where did that come from? Also: "Some of their recent contracts have included Arizona State University, Arizona Cardinals Football Team..." *Again, not true. FAMH does have Finehost as a client (source: press release, PR Newswire), which runs concessions at Sun Devil Stadium. But the leap is like saying you work for IBM when all they did was hold a Christmas party at your bar. Next: "Ed Taxin's Financial Hour picked FAMH as a "stock to watch".. The company said this was NOT a paid promotion." *Possibly true. Taxin issues a "blanket" disclosure on his show, indicating that he is paid to pump at least some of the stocks. Possibly all... there's no way of knowing. He won't say. This is ILLEGAL, by the way, and nicely outlined (along with other stock scams) at: stockdetective.com Even if Ira is not paying this guy, I don't know why he would be a party to illegal activity. Then, Brad says that "Kosteck Research has rated the company a buy up to $1.25." *Again, possibly true. If the report is on the Kostech website, I can't find it... apparently it may be in the "members only" section. Beats me how I could verify such a statement. I hate to take Brad's word for it, the way this post has been going. (BTW, Brad spelled it wrong, which made it an hourlong task to "do my own DD" on this, most of it tracking down the correct spelling.) Kostech does its "research" on companies, then sells it to the ones they promote. It's all on the website. Hardly unbiased. And these were from just one Brad post. Do your own research, indeed. I hope everyone becomes more careful about the "facts" they post.
