Has Rachel Maddow been spoon feeding you Comrat?

last week it was all about "getting to the truth"

Now Republicans accommodate Dems, bring in a woman sex crime prosecutor specialist who is applauded by Arizona Dems and all you care about is trying to find an excuse to make the R senators look bad.

Apparently truth is the last thing you give a sh*t about.

Ford have something to hide Rat? Sounds like it.

Tracy Westerhausen, a Phoenix defense attorney who has gone up against Mitchell in 30 cases, over more than 20 years, said she has developed a close friendship with Mitchell over their time on opposite sides of the courtroom.

"Part of the reason we're very good friends, she is a very nuanced and wise prosecutor," she said. "She doesn't pigeon-hole defendants. In my experience, she is a very pointed questioner of adverse witnesses. But she is also very fair."

Westerhausen, who called herself a lifelong Democrat, said she has never discussed politics with Mitchell but considers her a good choice for the high-stakes job. "As an American, it would make me more comfortable to see her selected. I really do think that she's a very professional person, who is out to make sure the right thing is done," Westerhausen said.

Your scorched earth BS smear job is going down in flames. I wouldn't be surprised if this causes another backlash and R's and Independents rake Dems over the coals in November.

The party of lies and hypocrisy....great strategy!

Deborah Ramirez and her attorneys announced on Tuesday she will not speak to the Senate Judiciary Committee under oath and she will not provide a sworn legal statement. The Washington Examiner reported:

Deborah Ramirez, a Yale University classmate of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, is refusing to talk to the Senate Judiciary Committee about her accusation against Kavanaugh, a GOP lawmaker said Tuesday.

Ramirez lawyer John Clune tweeted Tuesday that “We have been working hard to cooperate with the Senate Judiciary Committee…and they have refused to meet all scheduled appointments.” He said Ramirez wants an FBI investigation, not a congressional investigation, and is willing to “swear to the FBI under penalty of perjury.”

A top Judiciary Committee GOP aide told the Washington Examiner in response to the Clune claim, “The Ramirez legal team has declined to comply with the committee’s established process and investigation and seem to prefer working through the media.

Ford's team still wants questioning only by senators,

Is this the same Ford whose immediate family does not support and did not sign her support letter?

Her own immediate family doesn’t appear to be backing her up, either. Her mother, father and two siblings are all conspicuously absent from a letter of support released by a dozen relatives, mostly on her husband’s side of the family.

This same Ford?

Worse, the four other people she identified as attending the party, including Kavanaugh, all deny knowledge of the gathering in question, including Leland Ingham Keyser, who she calls a “lifelong friend.”
Keyser’s lawyer told the Senate Judiciary Committee: “Simply put, Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with or without Dr. Ford.”

The other two potential witnesses — Mark Judge and Patrick “P.J.” Smyth — also deny any recollection of attending such a party. The committee took their sworn statements “under penalty of perjury.” “These witnesses directly contradict Professor Ford’s allegations against Judge Kavanaugh,” Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley advised Ford’s attorneys last week.

Do you applaud this FAKENEWS?

NY Times removes key language helpful to Kavanaugh from article about Yale accuser Ramirez

Posted by William A. Jacobson Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 9:47am

Gone from Times Sept 24 article:
“Ms. Ramirez herself contacted former Yale classmates asking if they recalled the incident and told some of them that she could not be certain Mr. Kavanaugh was the one who exposed himself.”
