Anderson Cooper asked Clune if the reporting in the NY Times is true that his client was calling former classmates at Yale and told some of them she wasn’t sure if Kavanaugh was the perpetrator. What a great question. Here’s Clune’s answer: Short version: he doesn’t know. Not kidding, he literally told Anderson Cooper that he hasn’t asked his CLIENT if what the NY Times reported was true. HE DOESN’T KNOW AND HE’S HER LAWYER!!!! AND HE’S ON TV PLEADING HER CASE!!!! What a crap show. What a freaking crap show. How are we supposed to trust her lawyer when he doesn’t even know if his client did what the NY Times said or not. It’s only been in the NY Times ALL WEEK. If the Democrats brought this case to a trial judge, he’d throw THEM out of the courthouse.
