3Com ready to tackle '98:

3Com (COMS) executives downplayed the
company's recent troubles and rolled out a detailed
road map for the next few months at a Wall Street

Can't speak for AWOL Jeff, but I'm lurking and posting a tad here and there. Guess I really don't have much to say, lately. (Stuff it in advance, Dee Jay. <ggg>)

COMS has moved back into mild accumulation as the horizon becomes a tad less cloudy. I bought some '99 Leaps last week which are up ~25%, so no complaints.

Like you, I've been popping in an a few other threads. Unlike this corner, they they are more formal, less tolerant of tangents. Except the Ascend thread, which has sunken to... to... it defies description.

PS. Also added to my PAIR, PKD and AWRE positions last week, all looking good. If I had more time, I'd just tradd in and out of those all day.

Glenn, ditto for me (diversifed more into other securities). However, it's nice to have a thread where we can share off-topic things of general interest. My contribution for today is the official 1998 Winter Olympic Games web site. These games will be held in Nagano, Japan, Feb 8-22. Maybe I'm "out of it", but I just discovered this today. Anyway, after a brief bit of surfing, I happened upon the web-site, which is really very impressive:

nagano.olympic.org

PS - For the first time ever, Snowboarding will be one of the events.
