The Big Dog is back...after some good chicken and dumplings, I am feelin' right. That is until I checked out what you boys did to my money while I was gone. Here is a clip, FWIW, from an email I was sent from a good pal of mine working for a major oil company (*) in China (I got pals everywhere): So how is the drilling rig business going? I know ** is having a hard time getting equipment and people, and also having trouble holding onto people. Apparently they are losing so much staff in Houston they're having to change a lot of their Human Resource policies to stop the bleeding. They deserve it, the jerks. They have treated their employees so badly while jobs were scarce. They hire a lot of the people who work on the rigs here through an agency, but because they act like such idiots a lot of them are already looking for other jobs. It'll be interesting to see what happens.
