Has it occurred to anyone that the CC about
mfg problem was just a smoke screen for the
lawsuit settlement write off? I have a gut feeling
that knowing that the lawsuit would eat up
earnings, management decided to go ahead with
announcing the production shortfall in order
to soften the blow. Production shortfalls
and large inventory do not go along very well.
Comments?
I also thought about diminishing demand
being the real issue, but if we take away the lawsuit
settlement, VVUS would have met earning estimate.
So why announcing the production problem?

Still long on VVUS, but not as optimistic as before.
