Years ago my then girlfriend and I went to Vegas and took her younger brother. He’d never been to Vegas and we sort of ditched him the first day and I felt bad about it. So that night she is exhausted and turns in and I go to the bar with him where he happens to get lucky. I head to bed and he heads to his room with his new friend. The rest of the story is conjecture but goes something like this, he passes out, she leaves, he gets up and looks outside the door wearing nothing but socks and the door closes behind him. He runs to our room which is about ten rooms down and pounds on the door and we don’t hear it. While he is pounding on our door the elevator opens and a tournament poker player and two girls get out and they take him to their suite and give him a shirt and some shorts and a couple of drinks. Next day coming up in the elevator a lady says “I wonder what we’re going to be surprised with in the hall today” girlfriend says, why, what did you see yesterday? She said this naked guy was running up and down the hall and we told him he could get into a lot of trouble doing that. Girlfriend asks them to wait and goes grabs her brother to see if it was the same guy. Poor guy he was so embarrassed, afterwards he was known as the hallway-runner.
