I think the shorts have some good points. but I don't think there are very many shorts out there at this point. Is/was this the greatest dead cat bounce of all time? Remember this parable - if ye should short the dead cat bounce - wait until you see the look of fear - yes - but the look of confusion is more diagnostic. Disagreements on WHAT THE CONSENSUS PARADIGM IS start to show up withing the collective body of readers.Dead cat bounces inevitably blow up SOMETIME. I'm a witness - having survived the great Bre-x dead cat - going long on the deadcat at 2.00, and then getting out if something is wrong. Like being long Bre-x at 3.60 and taking a small loss with only ten minutes left in trading. Been there - done that. Next stop .06. That was once one of the most interesting studies of human mass behaviour and interplay of fear and greed I have ever witnessed. I get the strange feeling this COULD happen again, and shudder.

Cheers
