Very true, which is why I think this is a devil's choice. If the GOP or Trump dumps Kavanaugh, they are bowing to mob rule where accusations are enough to ruin a person and due process is thrown into the dustbin of history. If they stick with him, they sink in the polls with women. It's a tough one alright. The best outcome would be for the FBI to find something corroborating those women's accusations to give the GOP and Trump the excuse to dump Kavanaugh. Then they can bring in Judge Amy Coney Barrett, who will make Kavanaugh look like a liberal by comparison. Then the Dems will be shitting a brick, because it will not be a plausible accusation if a man comes forward claiming sexual abuse. You see, either way, a conservative is going to be the next Supreme Court Judge. The Dems will lose either way. The only question now is whether the GOP takes a hit in the process or not.
