Comments from today's IFEI: ....The Network Connection's (TNCi) AirView entertainment and cabin-management system was installed on Fairlines' first aircraft in early December. "The system is performing flawlessly right now and has undergone very rigorous testing, so we do not anticipate major problems. However, we won't know for sure until it actually goes into service," says Chris Sullivan, vice-president transportation entertainment at TNCi. He adds: "Everyone that has been involved with this system comments how small, lightweight and simple the system is, which goes a long way to the overall reliability of such systems. TNCi is a 12-year-old company that has been building digital interactive systems from the beginning so we are very confident about our products." TNCi is talking to "several commercial operators, many of whom are watching our launch on Fairlines", says Sullivan, adding that the company expects to announce more commercial business in the first or second quarter of this year.
