Thank goodness Big D with his magic wand were elected instead of Hillary's Harpies. We have hopefully escaped the old normal. Its horrible what people will accept as normal. Decades ago TJ predicted TEOTWAWKI in 2018. But that looks far from likely in the vantage point of the 2018 reality. On the other hand hubris happens when things are most glorious so there's time yet. The downside in the early 21st century happens in hours and days rather than months and years. A flash crash could happen anytime because fear and panic can propagate at the speed of light via fibre Cyberspace these days. With the extremely integrated global economic activity things in one country won't keep working if production and services in other countries gies bung. Mqurice
