Yep. Listened to the CC and it was a tough quarter. I thought Chellam and Perlegos sounded slightly more "upbeat" than normal, probably because they know the pressure's on. It sounds like they expect the French fab to decrease costs as they ramp to .35 by Q2. I was disapointed to hear that the Iomega and Polaroid chips are still in the design phase, but happy to hear that they have some other good stuff coming out for Japanese cell phones and watches. Kris said they lost about $1 million on exchange rates last quarter, but that they were hedged for Q1. All in all, it wasn't a very pretty quarter with pricing pressures and the Asia crisis, but my gut feeling tells me that things will improve nicely as the year unfolds. Perlegos commented that he thought the company was well positioned for growth in 1998.
