I definitely agree, day traders miss the bigger move if not the entire move completely ... I don't day trade, I haven't for many years... my strategy is never day trading, i position trade the market up and down, against my VP points which are highly reliable, so why not use them... Every tool has its special use and should be applied for that use only... And I also have my optimized portfolio which may hold a position for many weeks or months depending on the market's action, it's long some of the markets and flat some others that have fallen back... it keeps one safe from any meaningful weakness while still long when the market is running...
