David Cholesterol? to Reagan Conservatives Against The Trump Cult How do you handle not fulfilling campaign promises like Mexico is going to pay for the wall? "Lock her up"? Repealing Obamacare? Fixing Social Security without cuts (and claiming you are the only one who knows where the money is to fix it)? Defunding Planned Parenthood? Reducing the debt? It's easy. First you need a mindless cult that believes everything you tell them... Then you create a slogan that reads,"promises made, promises kept." Then you hold rally after self-serving rally constantly echoing "promises made, promises kept." Couple the beguiling repetition with outlandish lies like, "the building of the wall is already underway" and "I allowed you to say Merry Christmas again," and there you have it! No need to fulfill a damn thing! In addition... You can be as unhinged and incoherent as you want, and get away with calling yourself a "stable genius!" You can be as liberal as you want, and fool lemmings into believing you are a Conservative! You can be admittedly unrepentant and as vile as you want, and still be an evangelical leader to the simple! You can attack as many actual war heroes, have as many bone spur deferments, and praise as many authoritarian/communist dictators as you want, and still be dubbed an American Patriot!!!!
