David,

Very nice work.........Scoop!...Oracle! Put it in the "in the bag, but not announced" pile.

Sure Kessler knew about it.....he will tell you in his report next week...and because no Oracle revenue is in any of his estimates....he may want to lower by a penny or two, because Austrailia is close to Asia, and you know how bad things are there.

Wonderful find......5000 units to protect Oracle systems. You get the Wendell award tonight.

David, Let's hope Parselle is correct. It appears he is making a sales projection rather then a statement of fact, or announcing a sale contract.
Darn it!!
NW

" Australia's Identix International, a subsidiary of Identix, expects to see sales of Oracle/Identix's biometric technology package on the order of 5,000 seats in the next few months, says John Parselle, managing director of Identix International.

The orders will likely come from branches of the Australian government, which have been testing the system for one to two months to tighten the security of their Oracle databases, Parselle adds. He declines to reveal the names of the potential government users, but says it makes sense to use the technology to protect databases that hold, for example, social security information, which has been a ripe area for fraud and black-market trading of data."

P.S. Kessler, I believe IDX is on the verge of some big things. Truth of the matter is, last quarter dosen't mean anything, its tommorrow on that counts. IDX is a stock for the future, in a field of growing interest and most importantly NEED! Mix that in with the asian flu, and you have to be carefull not to over-react. Can you imagine how you would look if IDX followed a .2 cent quarter with a .25 cent quarter, and you didn't see it coming? Could this happen? You bet it could!

INS, ORACLE, SYLVAN, LASX, DATACARD. NEC, BULL, NORTH AMERICAN MORPHO, ADI, TIME-TRACK, O'HARE PILOT, TENET PILOT, IRS, NAVY, ARMY, DOD PILOT, VITRIX, XRX DATA-GLYPHS, 27 STATES, 42 COUNTRIES, GOVERMENT CONSULTING SERVICES.

Think about it, the story hasn't changed and you always bet the story!
