Engineers think in causal relationships
Mathematicians do too and do precise predictions
Scientists think in causality too (not all people who purport to be scientists are). Climate self-proclaimed 'scientists' for example.

Einstein Popper and Feynman were actual bona fide scientists. Briffa Jones and Mann are not.
