Vic: I think IOM is looked at differently than the standard disk drive makers now. IOM has been catagorized with them but no longer trades alike. IOM is seemingly lost within itself right now. No real direction or leadership. Everytime strong buying comes in sellers are right there to respond and then some. The term strong is only used relative to the present conditions. Volume has really been low considering the split and that may be the only thing saving it. Real traders are going to wait for the qtr report. Then it will either be immediately trashed or take a long slow climb back up to 16-18. IMO

Vic, Iomega's stock hasn't looked too good for several weeks.

Seagate preannouces earnings short falls and restructuring charges every other week. Hey, they might turn around in two or three years.
In a press release Thursday, Seagate said these moves should improve its competitive position through improved productivity and reduced costs from assets and employees.
