>>I heard today
FAHN was trying to borrow 100k shares of our Radica.

Thanks for the explanation Stan. So all the shorting that
FAHN has purportedly done has been legal--that is why the
spread has been so small the lst two days, therefore it
should be reported in this month's short volume.

Why do people consider FAHN a ruthless short seller? Why
would FAHN short a stock with these fundamentals? Do
they have reputable analysts in the toy arena? What kind
of terms do they get on borrowed stock, and how long can
they fail to deliver on covering their shorts? This is
all new to me.

Thanks in advance.

j.

There is one play, and that is to get your certificates of the company issued by your broker. It costs a few bucks but they cannot short YOUR shares this way. People like Skipard who have MANY shares would make a difference. I really can't.
This is exactly why AOL and many other companies try so very hard, as did IOMEGA to get on the NYSE which is a much more level playing field and look what has happened to their shares. Much higher and much less volatility.
What has Dito-Devcar have to say David. As one of the biggest shareholders of the company they could make a difference as could you.
Hearing that FAHN is borrowing more shares is not a good thing.
Don't discount the power of some of these bastards to ruin good companies. And there is always the Canadian side of things, which thinking about the connection between Hong Kong and Canada recently, this is something to watch out for. They can naked short in our market without playing by our markets rules...
