Dennis and his turtles made their money in the trending commodity markets of the 70's and early 80's using basically a Donchian channel breakout system(....during the commodities markets in the mid 80's through the 90's they took heavy drawdowns and exited the business.....in fact, the big money started fading their signals....it wasn't so much the system as any trend system will work when markets are trending..it was the money management of pyramiding in those trending markets Williams took 10k to over 1 mil in 87 in a real money trading competition. my point in bringing him up was he actually has disclosed many fine trading indicators and entered a real-time competition...he is also a vendor and good marketer,,,this biz is filled with shills and con men,,,,,,been that way since the markets have existed...everyone has the secret sauce,,, you can learn good stuff from anyone but in the end if its to be its up to the trader to find their own nitch and edge
