Exactly. Just pick-n-choose whatever scripture seemingly supports your political position, no matter how wrong you may be.

"Render unto Caesar" is NOT an advocacy of liberal tax policy anymore than Romans 13 (which Beauregard quoted) is a biblical endorsement of government authoritarianism.

Even the devil can quote scripture out-of-context.
