Both the S&P and gold are holding right at those lines, there's no coincidence in either of those. A decisive move is coming for both. I've placed my bets, but I'm willing to change them if need be. I think te market is going to make its decision soon; the pussyfooting ends, and we get a decision. For stocks, the VIX suggests that it may be volatile, like one of the FOMC days, with a good headfake, maybe two. My guess is we get a pretty good indication before options expiration next Friday
