When I was a practicing CPA in Texas, I once had a client who got a K1 from some company in California. The K1 had less than $10 in income on it. As is SOP with such K1s, I ignored it as immaterial.

California demanded we file a claim for this $10 in income. No way they could process a return for that amount of income. I was so pissed when they kicked that back. Knew then and there I would not want to be in that state lol.

Much prefer AR where the Dept of Finance deals in very round numbers.
