OT: re: problem connecting with anyone else or just Schwab?

Just Schwab. Both from the Mac at work (ethernet, NN3.01, 3.04 & 4.04) and IE3.0) and at home (modem, local ISP and also homeIP to work). I won't bore you with details just now as I am reformatting the hard disk at work and will try Daniel's idea of switching to 4.04 at work. After a lengthy session with Schwab tech support ("well it works for us") I know I'm in for tedious troubleshooting this weekend. I am posting this from a PC, to my chagrin. I have been doing tech support for years and the PC-owners always had the most problems, and the goofiest ones. Now here I am grinding my teeth. I'd call it an anti-Mac conspiracy but I'm trying to be grown up about this!

cheers
Eve
