The actual volume was about 1.1 million shares if you include the alternative exchanges. Stockwatch posts all trades but TMX and Quotemedia only post TSX trades. Trading went back to normal on Friday so I'm guessing someone had to liquidate some or all of their CUU position( close to 1 million shares all through Anonymous) because of a margin call on another stock. The major exchanges have experienced sell-offs this week and more may be on the way. Not a good time to have any stocks on margin.
