Alys, a 'not held' order is trader talk for a supply that does not have to be divulged but can be used as needed. In TCLN's case mm Herzog has had one since at least early December (post # 821...'Basically one seller, Herzog brokering for someone').

A bear raid is usually orchestrated by an individual or group with a single purpose. In our case HRZG constantly shows 500 shares, implying more than 10,000 for sale. Then whoever is pulling the strings stooges ISLD or INCA either flat or 1/32 below HRZG showing 5,000 shares. When it looks like the offer is about to be overcome it turns into 9900 shares (the max allowed). Then at the close HRZG and his shills attack the bid along with any of 3 non marketmakers, one of whom only deals in convertibles and actually marks his ticket 'short' and another, GSLD, whose character is so notorious that reputable mm's refuse to deal with him unless forced. It's kind of an honor among thieves thing. All this may seem petty but 3 cents times a large conversion can be significant.

We TCLN shareholders are protected by the 10% daily conversion limit and the R4 which will force buy-ins of any uncovered shorts in six more business days. Not much but someone's been buying. I know that several funds of the hedge variety are looking at the action but don't know if they are participants yet. Volume would suggest that there is some heavyweight action. Meanwhile those of us who believe in the company's future have a great buying opportunity at plus/minus $1.25.

Any questions of the nongutter, personal vendetta variety? Anyone?
