Hi, Joe. I know you feel I have some good posts and that it's not a slam. I'm also not insecure about the subject (I know that the quality of my posts is good). There isn't anything any of the witless could say that would trouble me. Consider the source, after all. :-) You're a good guy, Joe, so I didn't want to simply snub you. For me the discussion of numbers of posts rather than specific content of posts is a superficial and boring discussion, and that's why I generally don't bother to respond. To you I'll say, I own a lot of stocks and have an interest in many subjects on SI. I do my best to contribute (participate actively) to the areas from which I am taking information. I own at least 30 positions in stocks or options at this time, and try to keep up with as many of the threads as I can. The Fonar thread is the only one where there has been ongoing rudeness and infantile boorishness, of all those threads in which I'm active. I have held some stocks for over 15 years, and I would never sell a stock on the basis of stockholders' witless behavior. However, there are those who suggest that I should sell on the basis of their request. They think that feeling about other shareholders is a good reason to sell a stock. I'd respectfully suggest that those are the people who should sell, since it would be consistent with the position they espouse. If they think it's a stupid reason to sell, when the mirror is turned toward themselves, then if they were capable of reason, they'd drop the matter entirely. We all live in the world where there are people we don't like. Thankfully, mature adults live with that fact in good humor and don't let it chronically despoil the atmosphere or their lives. Linda
