Cary, Slightly OFF Topic

For a while there we were all in a position of having wine
and song running in the streets as opposed to blood. During
that time there were some calls for everyone to find another
sector worthy of our hard earned $$$$. That 'problem' is
behind us now as most of the equips are back to the 'value'
levels you referred to. Having said all of that......

Are you concentrating exclusively on the semiequips still
or do you see value elsewhere in this market. Although I
have not looked hard, I would bet that there are values
oversees at this point if one had the balls to make the
purchase (something like fujitsu or Sony, perhaps). I have
glanced at some of the steel companies, but havent found
anything convincing, and even some of the tech debacles
are really values (Oracle is still at a PE of 25 or so).

I did grab a nice position in Vishay Intertechnology following
their most recent acquistion (will boost their sales per share
to about $33 within a year and make them pretty much THE
dominant player in passives), but I cant find sector wide
value in many places.

Just wondering if you have any comments.

Regards,

J

RE: "purchase price targets ... UTEK: 18 and 16; AMAT: 25, 20, and 15."

I'm planning on making one additional investment each in UTEK and AMAT. My UTEK purchase price target is $16. I'm debating about the AMAT price target. I think I'll hold on and wait for something in the $22s.

Best wishes,

I2
