My 2016 FB memory - Trump didn't ask for forgiveness. He read words written by someone else off a teleprompter. I believe the only thing he was sorry about is that the tape got leaked. As for forgiveness why is he denying what he said? If he truly asked for forgiveness he wouldn't be deny the fact he sexually assaulted women which is a crime by saying it's only locker room talk. Forgiveness is admission of sin. Forgiveness is not denial of sin.
