She must have thought it would help her, but she obviously didn't anticipate the blowback, particularly not from the Real Native Americans. Now it's stirred up more people into looking at her history of claims, and thanks to the Internet, it's real easy to find, and it doesn't really hold up to scrutiny. Or are you saying this is another case of "Believe all women"?
