Yes, I have lived in Spain, which was by far the most benign of the socialist countries I've lived in. Their economy has pretty much been a shambles for a long time. Socialism is not working very well there, as it doesn't in most Democratic Socialist countries. Eventually, the people get fed up with it and they drift ever closer to despotism. It's a slippery slope. As to the more malevolent socialism, I have far more experience than you do when it comes to that. You just spout non-sense that makes it obvious to anyone who has experienced the predations of socialism that you know nothing at all about reality.
